Last Sunday, on Go Skateboarding Day, our good friends, and long time DuFFS supporters, Cosmic(cosmicrocks.com), held their annual Invasion of the Lexington KY skatepark. It was a huge event with thousands on hand. A great skate contest, live music, and of course, a big party. James Atkin and Cooper Wilt were on hand for the festivities, with Brian Osborne in tow. Cooper and James were skating with the kids, and helping to judge a best trick contest.

The day went off without a hitch, Coop and James even hung around and signed things for the kids.
Then the night time antics began....
A good time was had by all and the pictures truly do tell the story!

24 JUNE 2009 duffs concrete carnage/rom jam is on!
It's back again! The DuFFS Concrete Carnage/Rom Jam is on at Romford Skatepark in Essex, UK. If you're in the South East of the UK on the 4th July (if you're not celebrating Independance Day) get yourself down there and take off a layer of skin on the best 33 year old concrete in the country. With bands, BBQ and prizes to be won, this event will be major!

Have a look at this trailer for the madness coming from the mind of Andy Evans! It features Ben Raemers, Adam Howe, Carl Wilson, Rob Smith and pretty much every other UK AM who reps DuFFS! Even TM Munson makes a heavy contribution in his own particular way! Good work guys! We can't wait for the finished product!
We love the updates and photos that Mark Mulville sends to us mere mortals in the office. They always make us laugh, but we can never get over the jealousy of how he does it. The man lives life, definitely on his terms. He just goes where he wants, and does whatever he wants. He sent over this really nicely typed update and re-cap of the trips that accompany these photos, but the real story should go this way:
"So, I decided to go to Costa Rica, wear a trucker hat, and do creepy things with women. I rode a little too. After that, I hadn't had enough fun, so I went to Yosemite National Park, hung from the highest point possible point on earth, then rode my bike some more. Poor poor me."
We'll just sit here reading of the life we wish we had......

9 JUNE 2009 Ryan Metro sighting
That's right, he's not dead. There was a Ryan Metro sighting at the Louisville skatepark. Metro has been laying low, working on some top secret maneuvers. However, he had to cut the night short. Apparently, it's a bad idea to take an erectile dysfunction pill before going bike riding. Why did he do it? "Because I wanted to see what it was like." Do you have problems in that area Ryan? "No, my bone is fine. I just wanted to try it out. Now I have to go see my girlfriend and get rid of this thing."
Metro is a kook. Gotta love him. Here is some old footage of him. Keep working, you'll be that good one day.!
9 JUNE 2009 uk road trip
DuFFS UK riders Howe, Wilson, Smith and Young hit the road with Kingpin Photographer Dom Marley and headed down to the SW of England to check out some new concrete parks and hit some street spots. The weather was amazing and the spots were sick too!

Our buddy, world renowned bourbon destroyer, and our most famous BMX team rider, James LeVan, has the video of the infamous Austin Church Gap, posted over on the Odyssey site. Well, to be fair, it's posted on a bunch of sites, but the Odyssey dudes rule. It's hard to believe that he did that thing almost 12 years ago. THE MAN!!!!
