Jimmy recently made a little infomercial for his new shoe, The Forge, for his other sponsor, Dans. I don't think he'll be quitting his day job(like he has one) any time soon. Oh, and contrary to popular belief, the new shoes don't smell like bourbon. Those were Jimmy's sample pairs.

Adam Banton is already packed and waiting for Interbike. If you make it out there, come check out the new stuff and say hi, in the QBMX booth. I think everyone will be there, LeVan, Porter, Poynter, ATB, Alex, Mulville, and myself. I'm going to bet $1000 that someone pulls a Kanye at the NORA Cup awards.

MAN ALIVE, MORE TEAM NEWS...

we thought it was about time we hit up our boys for some updates on what they've been doing these last few weeks. god knows what the rest are up to but this is what we got from Cooper and louie...

Cooper is up in SF skating and hanging out. I know that’s not a lot of news but that’s all I got out of him.
Could his hasty retreat north have anything to do with the rash of forest fires in the Los Angeles area?

and Louie had this to say:

“k, i am living in spain, next week i will be going on tour to sofia bulgaria. i like gelatto. i've been playing with fire a lot lately. yesterday i learned biggerspins. i'm wrapping up an online thrasher interview. i like curvy italian women. bacardi, the smiths. long walks to the beach followed up with short conversations. i got jimmy carlin on youtube loop at the moment. my dislikes are sunburns on the shoulders, long conversations, hangovers, italian women, and youtube.”

BMX TEAM NEWS...

we haven't done an update for the whole bmx team in a bit. So, here's what the dudes have been up to:

Jimmy LeVan is in Louisville for the next couple of weeks. He'll be pounding bourbon, and calling me every 5 minutes to see if his shoes have shown up at my house yet. we love you James, but you're making us crazy.

Kevin Porter is making coffee and fake meat sandwiches. He's also showing the Mega Tour guys around Chicago right now. Maybe even contributing some clips for Anthem.

Karl Poynter and Adam Banton are both with the Eastern Bikes team on the Mega Tour. I'm sure there's absolutely no tech riding going on. You can follow their antics on the Eastern blog.

Alex Magallan is in New Jersey doing shows. He's also doing modeling shoots with big fish now. Kid will do anything for a buck.

Mark Mulville is over in the UK. He shredded everything in the US, so he had to go over there while we built new stuff.

KEVIN PORTER...

DuFFS would like to welcome BMX trailblazer, world renowned verbalist, and mid-western coffee mogul, Kevin Porter to the team. Kevin brings a different perspective to everything he does. Look out for the stylings of Kevin in some future projects.

For those of you that don't know, in addition to being a huge BMX ripper, Karl Poynter and his brother, Kyle, play on a paintball team together. This past weekend, their team, took first in a tournament in Washington, DC.

Good work kid. No word yet on if he took any nut shots.

The worlds first ever flat drop front flip was stomped by DuFFS head Sam Pilgrim recently.
